RBL Check Update

Posted on 23. May, 2009 by admin in TAAP News

We are glad to announce a major update on our Multi-RBL Check utility. We’ve removed some dead RBLs and added a bunch of new ones. The Multi-RBL Check now crawls through a total of 51 active blacklists.

Within the next several days we are going to clean up the obsolete database log entries that were erroneously added after UCEB and Spambag were gone.

Any feedback from you fellows would be as always most welcome!

We’d also like to take the opportunity to thank all of you who’ve been proactively contributing to TAAP with useful information, comments and suggestions over the last several months. Your time and effort are highly appreciated. :)

It would be great that you add a check against the senderbase.org reputation, because some users blocked our server because of being “Poor” listed on that RBL, even without being on their blacklist.

    Hello, Emisho.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

Here is some insider news for you. Our project development team is currently working on a brand new online service which will provide advanced RBL checks and automated monitoring (including e-mail alerts) to the registered users. SenderBase reputation checks will be available there. As soon as we are finished with that project, we will consider adding SenderBase to the RBL check utility here as well.

You can follow the development of the RBL monitoring project at http://twitter.com/rblmon :-)
