Today we added the Barracuda Reputation Block List (BRBL – pronounced “bahr-bel”) to our Multi-RBL checking tool. The latter now scans through a total of 52 blacklists.

RBL Check Update

We are glad to announce a major update on our Multi-RBL Check utility. We’ve removed some dead RBLs and added a bunch of new ones. The Multi-RBL Check now crawls through a total of 51 active blacklists.

RBL blackholes.uceb.org no longer online

Earlier this month the blackhole list blackholes.uceb.org stopped its operations. The reason for this, as announced by the UCEB team, is that their DNS infrastructure has been suffering persistent attacks.

For more information, please refer to http://www.anti-abuse.org/dns-blacklists/ Email users who find their messages blocked from mail servers that use DNSBLs often object vociferously, sometimes to the extent of attacking the existence of the lists themselves.
